TOA Buffing and You.
With the recent items added from the Trials of
Atlantis expansion (TOA), it is now possible to cap both your base and spec line
buffs. It is also possible to cap your yellow buffs allowing you to stretch your
buffing concentration even farther than before.
Quick Notes:
- Players get a 25% bonus from having nurture
at or higher than the buffs spell level.
- There is a 25% cap on the amount of 'Bonus
to stat enhancement spell effectiveness' from TOA items
- Master of the Art (MOA) stacks with TOA
items for a total cap of 40% (25% TOA and 15% MOA)
- Items that give 'buff bonuses' can be taken
off after buffing without canceling/changing already applied buffs
- Additional levels above your highest nurture
buff gives diminishing returns
- Haste isn't effected by bonuses to buffs

My druid is 44/31 Nurture/Regrowth which gives
him Red Str/Con and INT and Yellows on the rest. Some nice heals,
insta's, and what not for XP'ing. He also has Master of the Art III (MOA) which
gives you a 3% bonus to buffs per level. Total bonus being 34 (25% from TOA
items and 9% from MOA).
The Math:
(Spell Delve x 1.25) x (((TOA items + MOA) x
.01) + 1) = Effective Buff
So if I had yellow STR/CON with 25% in toa
items and MOA3 for 9% I would get an effective buff of 90. Spell delves for 55,
25% spec bonus puts it at 68, then 31% in toa/moa bonuses puts it at 90.
What you have to note is that the bonus for having Nurture at or above the level of the buff is added before any TOA or RA bonuses.
